STOP PRESS!!! A new night has started (well new-ish; it’s already been going for about 6 months but I just heard about it last month, so it’s new to me, and therefore, new to you!!) and it’s called CHEMISTRY! They run a music showcase type night every first Thursday of the month and have been featuring some top up and coming soul/funk/gospel artists. And boy oh boy is the talent fresh and , well, talented!!

A few years ago the RIAA, (also known as the Recording Industry Association of America), held a Corporate event and decided to start cracking down on music downloading. But instead of going after the file-sharing networks, the organization decided to sue the little guys– teens and others who downloaded large amounts of music files.

It is a sad day for hulf hogan. No one should have to go through that. If anything, it can ruin one’s life for good and I do not ever see Hulk Hogan ever being able to fully recover and get the support that he needs to be forgiven. There are many well established bands that have a big following. Some of them are main stream selling millions of records such as Coldplay or Placebo. There are also well established artists that whilst aren’t famous, have a cult following that make them well established, they are the artist that can pack a venue by putting a few emails out to select emailing lists. Kimya Dawson is one of my favourite examples of this. She is a solo artist with a very specific sound, and her music is truly beautiful! She has developed a huge following – huge if you include all her fans worldwide. If you only take the fans in a single area or country, she isn’t established, but thanks to the internet, she really is established.

Thanks for bearing with us through the rather unsuccessful first launch, we have got together some good hosting and we are now up and running on a complete new plateform.
